Here's the scenario: I have a couple slave machines on my network, these are hosting all my sample libraries.
On my local machine I'm currently using Ableton Live to host the VEP5 plugins pointing to my slaves and receiving audio back from them.
My main music program is called Synfire Pro, which doesn't do tons of audio tracks very well as it's mostly a composition tool and not a full blown DAW, which is why I'm just using virtual midi out to the tracks hosted in Live.
Now instead of Ableton, I wanted to just use a local copy of VEP5 hosting the VEP5 plugins, so I could do away with running Ableton as a host, but the VEP5 plugins (Vienna Ensemble Pro x64.dll, Vienna Ensemble Pro Audio Input x64.dll etc..) is not showing up in the VEP5 plugin list when I add a new track.
I'm running the correct bit version, and all my other plugins show up.
Is there a restriction that doesn't allow what I'm trying to do?
It would simplify my setup a lot and make it more efficient.
Thanks.
