  • Payment issues

I had the reverse issue last night in Canada. I was in paypal to find out the cost in CDN From the website for VE Pro 5. In order to find out the actual cost online, I usually check on my paypal. After logging in to Paypal, there was no total amount provided, but rather a note on the left side of the Paypal screen that read: "You will have an opportunity to review the total amount on the next page (or screen)." I clicked on the 'Continue' button and paypal immediately paid for VE PRO 5. This is the first time I have paid through a 'Continue'button and not the 'Pay Now' button. It turns out that the local dealer charges $270 Cdn, I ended up paying $323.15 online. Having one primary machine (mac pro), not even sure that the product is right for me as I wasn't eligible for a demo on my user account...

  • Hi folks, I have sent several emails and poted on this forum. I am sorry to bother you but: 1. When do you think you may reply to my emails? This appears to be a significant glitch in the payment system that cost me 323.15. 2. Will you respond to my question about my inability to demo the product to determine if it is any use on a single Mac Pro? 3. Will you, ultimately, refund the money and allow me to trial the product prior to making a decision to purchase? Thank you very much folks!

  • In another thread I wrote the following related to payment problems -which seem to be relatively frequent... "I had the reverse issue last night in Canada. • Early Tuesday morning a refund was offered. Shortly after, the license keys, and all downloads were revoked. However. the refund, has not yet been registered in my paypal account. In fairness, the refund should have occurred when the products were taken away. Now, there are no products and you are still holding $323 of my money. If the licenses can be revoked that efficiently, (and I didn't download anything while I 'owned' them), then why couldn't the refund be issued at the same time? This was a glitch in the payment system. At no point did I confirm a purchase through 'pay now'. It went from telling me to continue for a total to paying. I do note that folks who are trying to pay but are having problems are sorted very quickly. I've heard great things about the producs, but this episode, and the inability to demo a product before purchasing unless you already own a product (which is very odd indeed) simly doesn't reflect well. Sorry.

  • Hi DSpec1,

I'm sorry to see that you're upset. We've actually NEVER charged your PayPal account, that's why there's nothing to refund. When you order in our web shop (or any other shop) you give us the permission to charge your credit card or PayPal account with the respective amount. Later on this is processed manually. Since you let us know right after you placed your order that this was a mistake, we never charged your PayPal account to begin with... The payment authorization that we've received has been canceled by us on Wednesday, after the licenses and registrations have been revoked. I'm not sure if PayPal sends you a notification when a payment authorization has been canceled, this may also depend on your PayPal settings.

    Regards,

    Stefan
