    This is an example of the Dimension violins legato - I thought to post this in response to the thread which was saying there was something wrong with it.  There isn't, as it is programmed by VSL flawlessly.  I've become a huge fan of the Dimension recording technique, because it adds a realism that none of the other libraries have.  This recording uses a large amount of humanize in both tuning and timing -

     I added a slightly tweaked mix of just the 2nd part - this one uses the "Espressivo Legato" Dimension violins, the first mix uses the "Normal Legato."

     one other thing about this piece that interested me in using Dimension Strings, is that it actually scored for 6 violins in separate parts, and then the normal compliment of other strings.  So the sound of the ensemble Grieg called for was almost exactly the Dimension violin ensemble.
