    I have a passage with C/S violins that needs a D6. And C/S only goes up to C6.

    If I buy VI Pro, will that give me the ability to stretch the top C6 samples to go up to D6?  I don't see a way to do such a thing in 'VI Lite'.

    I don't mean -bend-. The passage is an ostinato so I can't just 'fake one note' by bending up before hitting the note.

    (BTW: a slight grouse/suggestion? I was a bit surprised to find this top limit as my -real- players seem to have no great problem hitting that note in tune.)

    Yes, you can do that in VI Pro.

    I kept finding ways to save the $, but I think this time they finally got me... I'm so cheap I'd normally just transpose down. :D But too late for this job.

    Can't really complain... I've squeezed quite a bit of value out of 'VI plain'.
