  • 24-bit / 44.1k I believe, same as all other VSL samples. The VDS Early Bird offer will ends when the full library is finished and will be adjusted upwards when the Cellos are released (maybe this summer?).

    Actually all samples are recorded in 96kHz/24bit. They are stored and processed in 96kHz/32bitFP. In a final step - just before the mapping takes place - the samples are converted to 44.1kHz/24bit using a proprietary sample rate conversion tool.

    All samples are stored in a data-compressed (opposed to: data-reduced) format on your hard disk, BTW, using considerably less space than they would in their uncompressed form.
