    Hello friends,

    is there a difference performance-wise when I use MIR Pro as a plugin or with the same number of instruments with Vienna Ensemble Pro? I am a logic-user and prefer the plugin-workflow but my 12core 2010 Macpro with 48 Gb of Ram and SSDs seems to stressed.

    Are there any advices available how to encrease the performance when I use Audio Tracks and serveral instruments?

    Depending on how your project is setup, you might see a better performance with either option. Logic has some issues with its multicore processing, sometimes plugins can all end up on the same core. Using MIR in VEP, you would avoid that scenario.

    If this happends you should distribute the audio using busses

    I did not try the MIR AU yet. but I have heard from other user that the AU is more greedy !!! ????

    From my trial using IAC put less stress on my Macpro
