    I am new on VSL. When I use Clarinet on VI stand alone, it is beautifully sound. When as a Finale 2009 part, it overlaps; as if it keeps slightly previous not into the  next note. I can mange it in the advance mode but lose quality sound dramatically. Is there any idea as how to manage it?

    Check the legato mode you are in,  inside "Advanced settings" - if it is set to "global" legato, you get audible overlaps with longer written note overlapping.  If you set it to "mono" it will never overlap.

    Great it works. However, I did not find "mono" but "Velocity XF" "On" and "Off". It works with both. 

    I guess I need to approach the manual and study carefully the meenning of "Global"
