About usage of additional MIR 24
-
Welcome Shockky,
thanks for your interest in MIR Pro!
A MIR Pro licenense is valid for one machine only. This is based on the underlying concept of using MIR as unified final mixing stage for all signals within a virtual room. MIR Pro 24 was also meant as cheaper "second license" for owners of MIR Pro who really need to split their setup between several machines for one reason or the other.
But using the audio-routing capabilities of VE Pro, you could easily send raw audio streams from your second computer to your main system and put it into MIR Pro there. That way you might not need a second license at all (assuming that your main machine is powerful enough), and you wouldn't "destroy" the beauty of having all instruments under control in one interface. :-)
BTW - this would of course work th eother way 'round, too (i.e. sending audio from your main system to your slave machine which has MIR Pro installed).
