I am a regular Finale user and VSL user, and I am agonizing over trying to get finale's playback to work (without a thousand key-switches) with what I want it to do. I recently stumbled upon Notion SLE, which does a perfect job of allowing me to fully utilize what VSL has to offer, but only with the special edition. So my question:
1) Is there something similar (either for notion or something else)that does the same job as Notion SLE, but with the full DVD library? (I don't have everything, but I have more than just the special edition)
2) If there is not, how easy is it to manually enter what you want into Notion? I'd prefer not to invest $100 into something that doesn't work for me any better than finale. Articulations go to certain patches, sustains go to certain patches, repeated notes to certain patches... etc

Something like Notion SLE for the full DVD library?

I think Sibelius is the only notation program to support the full VSL libraries, but even there, you won't have access to all the myriad of articulations that are available.
Finale could support the full VSL if Make Music ever fixes the long standing bugs in the human playback system. Notion could also support the full VSL is someone wrote custom playback rules (they equivalent of HP).
