    Hello,

    I'm just wondering if someone from VSL can clarify which direction I'm supposed to rotate french horns in a MIR room. Should they be facing backwards since the bell points to the back wall?

    Hi,

    MIR takes care for all of these issues (as long as the proper Instrument Profile is assigned to an Icon). The like mentioned in MIR Pro's Preliminary Manual on p. 23, the Volume Slider also serves as Directivity Indicator. Look at it as the "player's nose" - which means that any necessary rotation is already implemented in the instrument's Profile.
