Hey Everyone,
this is my problem: i want to write an automation with, for ex., the velocity fader - with my MOUSE! so a simple case: i paint an event over some bars, and paint one long note in it, give it a violin sustain patch in VI player. Now: i activate the "write" button of the midi-channel. and i activate the "write"-button in the upper left corner of the VI-Player window. now i hit play, move the velocity fader with my mouse, and can hear the changes. but when i stop, and play it again, no automation has been written, i cannot see anything and the fader doesn't move. but with any other VSTi, this works this way.
i already figured out, that the velocity fader can only be attached to a CC-Controller, which can only be seen in the automation-tracks of the midi-track, and that the automations (when made like descriped above), affect the automation-tracks of the VSTi that is connected to that midi-track.
So i somehow need to write the automation into the midi-track, not the VSTi-track. can anybody help me with that? or has other suggestions of how i can get this seemingly simple thing working? that would be great!
