Working in Vienna Instruments Pro there are a multitude of settings and up to 16 patches that can be loaded to create the project perfect cell. However there appears to be no way to save this information in a format that can be loaded into another matrix. Yes you can save it as a matrix with one cell but then this is rather unwieldly particularly when you just want to load that particular set of instruments.
The example that pushed me to ask for this facility involves the new Dimension Strings. I have loads of existing songs that might benefit from a touch of the new Dimension Vioilins, ideally I would load a cell that contains all 8 violins in whatever articulation I require - then fine tune (2/4/6/8) as required. This can't currently be achieved. The only way is to load Matrixes then copy/paste across the required cell - a more time consuming and convoluted process.
Given the sheer number of settings available at the cell level it would certainly be a step forward to have a save and load facility with a file structure that would support cells.
