  • What's difference between MIR PRO and MIR PRO 24?

  • The only difference is that you're limited to 24 MIR Pro channels in MIR Pro 24.

  • Can MIR Pro 24 be opened up in two different VE Project Windows?

If so, how is the limitation of  24 divided up?  Is it a combined limatation of 24?

  • The limitation works per process, so in a single VE Pro Server you can have up to 24 MIR Pro channels.

  • Synergy,

As I recall it was a combined limitation of 24, with any configuration (12x12, 14x10, 18x6,) any configuration.

  • I'm still have a few more questions.... (sorry, but the plug-in adds a few much appreciated useful "wrenches" [:)] into the equation that I need to understand.).

How does the new plug-in version work in regards to MIR and MIR 24? In otherwords, what are the limitations?  If I purchase MIR PRO 24, can I open 24 plugins in my DAW?  But not 25?

Can I use MIR PRO 24 as both a plug-in and within VEP5 simultaneously?  If so, does using it as a plug-in affect the MIR PRO 24 instance count too?  (For example, 3 plug-ins, plus 21 instances in VEP5 = MIR PRO 24?)

When MIR PRO 24 is used as a plug-in, is it still limited to a single machine? (I appreciate that Vienna Suite came with three licenses)

Can I have the MIR PRO 24 plug-ins process any audio input such as a stem or group of instruments? (Woodwinds Stem L, Woodwinds Stem R, etc.)

I have Mac Pro 2008, is anyone using this machine running more than 24 instances of MIR?  It seems to me that I might even be up against the wall (in terms of CPU usage with both MIR24 + samples).
