  • VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

    I love VSL products. They are some of the best in the world. I am so happy to have them.

    However, my online purchases have been ridiculously difficult.

    Today, I have spent two hours trying to get the upright bass and jazz drums. My credit card would not work, so I took the time to set up a PayPal account. I even tried it out on another web site and it worked fine.

    On the VSL site I actually got to a page that said:

    "PayPal Payment successful,  Please be patient, you will receive your confirmation in a few seconds."

    After trying two times now,  after about half an hour now, I have received absolutely nothing. No bass and drums, no confirmation, no notice of failure... Nothing!  And, of course I have heard nothing back from my emails I sent.

    I just don't get why a company who makes some of the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art software and insturment sample libraries in the world cannot provide me with a smooth and EASY purchasing system.

    I am ranting about this and posting it here with the hope that others who may have experienced the same problems may chime in and complain. Then maybe they might actually do something about it.

    I plan on making many more purchases over the next couple of years. But each time i do, I dread the thought of what I will have to go through just to make an online transaction.

    I really need these items to work on projects. BUT the damn website will not allow me to get them!

    These products are not cheap! I know VSL is taking in some great profit, a lot of money. Why can't they spend some of it on providing a purchasing system that works smoothly and efficiently?

    At one point during my attempts it kept taking me to a Paypal check-out page in German, not English. Everything was in English until I got to the important pages, then it turned German ???????

    Is anyone else experiencing this kind of thing?


  • Ok, after reading some other posts, I tried using PayPal, without goiing through my PayPal account, just using my credit card via PayPal. Still the results were exactly the same. I come to a page on VSL web site that says:

    PayPal Payment successful

    Please be patient, you will receive your confirmation in a few seconds.

    Then nothing. still waiting. nothing.

    So it has been about three hours of my morning, which was scheduled for some production work, that has been totally wasted trying to buy something from this web site. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please I beg of you FIX IT!
