    Is it possible to use my Vienna Ensemble Setup with all the soundlibraries located in my studio, via Internet on my laptop at home, or is that only possible with a local network? If yes which internet connection speed would be necessary? Thanks for any help Matthias

    In theory, yes, you just need to use a public IP for your VEPro machine, and enter its address manually in the client plugin.

    In practice, not really, unless you have a serious fiber connection with ultra-low latency.

    Wow....

    Perhaps 3000 USD per month, for Fiber in Studio and Fiber at Home across a T3.

    Not to mention your hardware monthly lease fees.

    Probably cheaper to build a world class second studio at home, with licensed second copies of VSL, and anything else you can imagine.

    Still..... the home to studio network idea, is very sexy.
