    I work at two studios.

    At one studio we run DP and VEP on OSX, and when VEP is coupled the save time is quite slow (aprox. 5-8s). 

    At the other studio I run Cubase and VEP on Win 7, and when VEP is coupled the save time is near instantaneous. 

    At the DP studio, we have started to run decoupled in order to get around this, but we'd prefer to run coupled.

    Both studios have pretty much identical hardware and configurations.
