    How do these ethernet protocols affect VEPro5 if at all? Is there a preference and why? Just saw them amidst our normal slave setups on macpros. (Which all have static IP addresses.) Thanks for the help!

    VE Pro only supports IPv4 so far, so IPv6 can be ignored.

    Not sure what you are even asking [:)] .... You only need iIPv4. Is that the answer to your question?

    Sorry for the confusion Paul. In the mac network prefs, you can actually turn 'off' either or both IPv4 and IPv6. So I was wondering if they are needed to be turned on at all, for VEPro usage.
