  • How can I see only the chosen instrument on the MIR-Stage?

    My problem is, that my stage looks pretty messy and it´s hard to select some instruments on the MIR stage, cause the are hidden behind other instruments. 

    My workaround is, to select the instrument in the right window, where I can insert new VI-Pro-instruments, to get the instrument selected.

    But it´s a bit annoying, that the Mir-stage disappears and I  have to click back to MIR after selecting a VI-Pro-instrument. 

    Is there a way, to keep the MIR-window in front all the time, while selecting instruments? 

    What would be the easiest way to select the wished instrument on the MIR-stage?

    You can disable the automatic showing of the instrument when clicking its channel strip in the VE Pro preferences (it then takes a double click on the coloured label to bring it up from the channel strip).

    A combination of the "Follow" and the "Select Instrument by incoming MIDI data" options might help, too.

    Quoting the manual (p. 57): "To avoid the constant repetition of zooming out, locating the Icon, and zooming in again, make sure to activate the  Follow option in the Venue Navigation Bar just below the main Venue View window. That way, the Icon for the selected Instrument will always jump right to the center of the display without changing the zoom level."
