    My sequencer program (Logic) runs on a mac. This is connected via ethernet to a pc. On this pc I have one Vienna Ensemble opened, where I want to load my whole orchestra. The problem is, I don´t see, how to get more than 16 midi-channels. I see different midi-ins with 16 channels each in Vienna Ensemble, but I don´t know, where to find the correspondending setting in Logic. 

    If I insert VE in an audio instrument in Logic I can switch the midi-channels but there are no midi-ins. 

    Isn´t it possible to use more than 16 midi-instruments in one VE?

    16 MIDI channels per instance is a limitation of the AU spec. It might be worth you investigating the Logic multiport environment thing that VSL has kindly provided in your user area.
