    I seem to be able to load my PC metaframes on a Mac, but the Kontakt instruments don't load. Should this work, or are the files not compatible?

    Kontakt won't load because you are using VST on PC and AU on Mac. Only the VSL plugs and instruments will load in both OS using VEP.
