    Hi everyone, I just saw the new system requirements stating that the recommended setup for Macs is now V10.7. I'm still on 10.6, and am quite happy that I haven't had any reason to upgrade - any particular reason why 10.7 is now recommended over 10.6 in terms of performance or reliability or other major feature?

    The system requirements have been increased to 10.6, latest update. Not sure where you found OS X 10.7, should just be a typo.

    Yes the requirements are still 10.6, but underneath that on this page: http://www.vsl.co.at/en/211/497/1685/1990/1996/1685.htm it says *recommended* 10.7. I only bothered to check because on this page there is a link to "new" requirements: http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/428/2022/1709.htm I was just wondering why it's recommended to have 10.7, as in features, performance, is 10.7 more stable, etc.

    Hi, 

    New products and updates will always be optimized for the newest OSs. Mountain lion 10.8 is already released... 

    So no particular or urgent reason to upgrade (yet).
