  • [SOLVED] No Instrument Plugins Found

I'm close, but not dancing yet ;) I just added a streaming computer. Thank you for your help with my licensing issues. It does "connect" now. :) I have my next problem: I have loaded all of my libraries onto an external Hard Drive that is attached to my streaming computer. I loaded them through my computer so that the "front end" of my libraries would go where they needed. I have EWQL Orchestra, MOR, SD2, Choir w/ word builder and Native Instrument's Komplete 7 and Some Sample Logic Libraries.(I have Komplete 8 waiting to be loaded) I'm not able to load any instruments other than Epic Orchestra. When I look under channel>Add Plugin> (it says )No instruments plugins found I had the directory manager scan everything in my external Hard Drive - and made sure Nothing from Vienna was open while scanning. It didn't help. I see that there is a "Library Installer", but I thought that was for Vienna Instruments only, is that correct? How do I know what I need to drag and drop from my C: drive into the Directory Manger in order for VE Pro 5 to recognize my plugins? I'm guessing I need anything that's possibly the engine? Like EWQL 'Play' or 'Kontakt'. I feel like I'm a blind surgeon. I'm either going to be extremely lucky or have a real mess on my hands. I've watched the videos and I've scoured the most recent manual - sorry if I'm totally missing something.

  • I'm dancing, Whoo Hoo! (My swivel chair will never be the same! ;) OK, so I found the "Plug-in" section on the VE Pro 5 server under "preferences". I clicked "Load a file" and was asked for a VST Folder. I did a search on my C: Drive for VST Folders and the locations came up, so I then used that as a reference to load the needed files. -I then re scanned, and the rest is dance history.:) I know you would have had my back if I needed it :)
