Am I the only one missing e-mail notifications about software updates? I mean the newsletter and special promotions do arrive at my inbox regularly, but I always stumble upon the latest updates accidentally.
Are we as customers not even worth the effort of sending just another mail?!

I am no fan of "phone home" auto-updating software. If not done perfectly, it can backfire. I like how Spectrasonics has a link and a web page shows up -- red if out of date/green if current. BUT - it still reqiures me to click on it.
I still vote for email when a new build rolls.
