    Hi all, I am completely new to the Vienna software and have just purchased the Vienna Ensemble Pro. The first time I opened it, I was able to create a simple VI track, a bus track, and was able to insert a reverb into the bus track and send the instrument tracks signal to it. However when I opened it again and tried creating the same basic setup, when I click on the + signs next to the effect and send buttons of any track, no menu appears and I cannot add an effect or send a signal to a bus. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so does anyone know how to fix it. Or am I doing something wrong. I have tried reinstalling and it disn't help. I use Lion as my OS on an IMAC. Thanks in advance. Stad

    Actually, I just found that there is exactlyt one pixel within the + button where you have to click so that the menue appears. Weird!!!

    You'll find many things in the VSL world to be very precise.

    Somedays you'll love that, others, you won't.

    • Which DAW are you using on that iMac?
    • How's VEP 5 working for you now?

    Hi Mike, It is still a problem and I really don't believe this sort of precision was really meant by VSL... :) I am using it standalone. Otherwise, I love it! Thanks

    You are right, that´s not the sort of precision we meant, and it´s also not required.

    We couldn´t reproduce this in any way... Did you make sure you´re using the very latest version of VE PRO 5?

    Did you change any settings regarding fonts or appearance in your OS? If this is still the case, a remote session might be interesting to you as well.... Please contact us at , and please include a few screenshots, along with a link to this thread.

    There is currently a known bug in VE Pro 5 on OS X, which causes some buttons to not function properly when the surrounding dock window is undocked from the main window. It can be avoided by keeping things docked in the main VE Pro instance window. Apologies for the inconvenience.
