Sustained notes sticking in Protools

Hi, This is my first post here so fingers crossed! I'm having some problems in a piece at the moment - when I'm recording a midi track in Protools via Vienna Ensemble Pro (using Mir24) my sustained instruments are recording properly but the end of the sustain is being ignored when playing back. i.e. every note in the piece just stays playing forever until I stop Protools from playback. The notes stop correctly if just playing live - it's just playing back that has the problem. I've obviously messed up a setting in protools or VSL as I've never had this problem before. Hmm - well that was easy - I just fixed my own problem. I had to take a look at the protools controllers and for some reason the sustain midi signal was set to permanently on (probably happened earlier during a recording which I stopped while pedal was still pressed). A quick fix.
