  • Multiple Kontakt Instruments in 1 VEP Instance

Anyone have suggestions for maximizing performance with a Kontakt multi containing several instruments inside a VEP instance?

I'm trying to take advantage of multiple string articulations, but I get BACKGROUND MEMORY LOW warnings after loading 2 instruments into a Kontakt multi

(I'm using Session Strings Pro, which has 29 articulations, but only 6 can be used in any one instrument) I've read here that I should be able to load multiple instances of VEP, but I can only seem to get 1 going with a few VIs in it.

    Thoughts? Thanks!

  •  You can load many instances in one server of VEP. You can't load multiple instances of the server.

What version of  Kontakt are you using?

    32bit server or 64bit?

I would also suggest that you format your post better, as it is hard to read : User Area/Profile/Content Editor/Enhanced.

  • Tried reformatting, hope this is better.

I'm using Kontakt 5.0.2.5641, on a 32 bit server (plugin+DAW compatibility keeps me off 64 yet).   I'm trying to load 1 instance of Kontakt with a multi containing several instruments in 1 preserved instance of VEP.

  •  What happens if you load these multis in a 64bit server?
