VE PRO Keeping samples loaded

Hi, when switching between Logic Projects, using one instance of VE Pro and keeping the samples loaded, can I have different settings for each project in VE Pro (volume, Mir, etc.) without reloading the samples? When I click "Load incoming data", all the samples reload. Thanks Kyrre

Hello Kyrre, 

You should keep 2 VE PRO instances open, with different preserved names for the different settings. Shared memory will only load the samples once, even if they are loaded in multiple instances. 

"Load incoming data" asks you whether you want to accept the data your sequencer has saved with your song, pushing it to VE PRO 5. 

Loading samples a second time (like you did when you have "just" one instance open) will be faster than with the initial loading, btw.

Thanks! I also think I was working with way too little RAM. Now I've got 12GB, and any kind of switching between projects is a lot faster. Kyrre
