    I've tried to download it to a 2T Firewire external hard drive but the second disk won't complete, saying the file may be corrupt or the drive overheated. This has happened twice) As a result, all the files get deleted and I have to start again to no avail.

    The workaround is to copy the files (drag and drop) but this won't work either as it hangs up on the last file of the first disk.

    Any ideas?

    iMac running 10.7.3 with 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
