New to forum
I am new to this forum. I have been using Finale for the past 20 or so years (currently using Finale 2011) and for most of that time have been disappointed by the various instrumental playback libraries - including Garritan. I have just discovered Vienna Instruments via a YouTube video that used them for playback and am absolutely astonished by how realistic it is. I compose in the traditional way using Finale almost exclusively as a way to realize my music. The majority of my works are large concert band and orchestral pieces and chamber works. Other than knowing Finale extremely well, my computer and electronic music skills are rather limited. So my question is what do I need minimum to be able to use Vienna Instrument with Finale playback? Are there demos and tutorials available. I am currently using a Power Mac (Power PC) G5 with 16GB of RAM.
