The new A.R.C. in LASS 2 is crashing VEP 4 for me everytime without fail. I have seen others on the Audiobro forum saying the same is true for VEP 5. My specs are Win7 64 bit VEP4. Latest drivers of everything.

I don't own VEP5 so I can't tell you from personal experience. However... some of the guys who do have VEP5 have confirmed the same bug. So it seems to be a universal issue regardless of the version.

also... if I were to upgrade to VEP5, would I still retain all of my licenses for VEP4 and recieve additional licenses for VEP5? or do you essentially forfeit the VEP4 licences?
OK, well this is something that Native Instruments and Andrew need to look into, as well as VSL, because there could be many causes of the problem. I'm sure if Andrew gets an up-to-date NFR to VSL ASAP, they will look at it carefully, which should speed things up.
To answer your question about licences, you can use VEP4 with a VEP5 licence, but you do not get extra licences when you upgrade; you still have 3 in total per purchase.

I was able to download the content for the update. However, I think they gave the option of getting back up DVD's as well. I will post something on the audiobro forum and let them know that you need the ver2 update as well. Thanks guys for the quick responses.

Confirmed - getting crashes ARC / VEP5 / K5 (when I try to open a 'saved LASS Multi' in K5). No error messages - just drops it.
Rob, I downloaded the new Kontakt 5.0.2 and it seems to not be crashing as much. Have you had any luck with that?
/brad
Yea - still crashing BUT my work around is NOT loading a saved LASS multi into an already opened K5. I simple open a NEW K5 and all is good. Other than that no crashes.
Gotcha! Yeah I just tried what you are saying about loading multi and it's the same here. Crashes. I'm Win7 64 bit. What are you running?

W7 64 bits. Simple enough work around as stated though. I can live with this - no worries.
