    Hello,  I have much of the VSL library which takes a hefty bit of space.  I am trying to determine two things.

    First, is it better/more efficient to store the library on an internal or an external drive?  This is assuming of course that the external drive would be at the very least a firewire 400 drive and potentially an eSATA connected drive.  My recording drive is usually an internal SATA drive, but if there are opinions about recording to an external drive, I will be happy to listen.

    Second, is it really more efficient to put the library into two computers?  I did that but then I sometimes am not running my second computer and it is a pain to have to turn it on for this one sound that is running on the second computer.

    Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks.
