    Hi,

    I have just upgraded VE Pro 4 to 5 and found that, when loading previously saved projects, no VI Pro instances in VE Pro 5 were showing up. Clicking channel tabs does not display Instrument windows at all, and no sound outputs. Only channel window is active and shows MIDI incoming correctly.

    Also I notice "Add VI Pro" menu which existed in VE Pro 4 is missing now. Tuning is gone as well - set to default (440 Hz). All other instruments such as Vienna Imperial and Vienna Instrument (not Pro) are working with no issues; simply VI Pro looks dead.

    Same thing happens in my slave computer, too.

    It's strange as my VI Pro 2 is fully activated, working standalone.

    Am I missing something? I would appreciate any helps.

     Make sure you install VI Pro after installing VE Pro 5. Just re-install VI Pro, and you should be OK.

    Thanks again, DG. I ran VI Pro installer again, fixed disk permission and voilà it's working now!
