VSL special edition with Logic

Hi I'm thinking of buying a mac and getting the new version of Logic. Before I go ahead, I wondered if someone could give me an idea of how you link up Logic with Vienna? I'm currently using Vienna Ensemble with Sibelius. Am I right in thinking you have to use Vienna instruments when using logic? If someone could give me a step by step process of how you link up the two that'd be awesome. Also, how would you change between patches in logic (for example: from Legato to Portamento in the strings?)In sibelius it's easy, you just have to type a text command. Hope someone can help Dave

You can load Vienna Instruments and/or Vienna Ensemble with Logic. To change between patches, simply enter or record the keyswitches and MIDI control changes needed.

Hi Andi, Is there anywhere I can find more precise instructions as to how I do this? Is there a PDF document which can talk me through how to load vienna with logic, and how to record these key switches?

There is no special manual on how to use our instruments with Logic. All you need to know about this can be found in the Vienna Instruments, Vienna Ensemble and Logic manuals.

Hi Andi, Just to clarify, is it possible for me to export a sibelius score and import it into Logic as Midi, and then use my SE samples in logic for when I sequence the piece?
