    Hi, I've just been dealing with a problem that pissed my off. I've been able to work because my VE machine could not play any note without glitches . After a couple of hours dealing with ethernet cables, switches, etc, I realized that VE used 2G more than the usual 5,5 GB RAM (my machine has 8 GB RAM), so Windows 7 was swapping memory to load all samples! Kontakt settings does not make any progress, and then I realized that I've just upgraded VE to 4.1.8861, so I downgraded the VE to 4.1.7043 and, surprise, it worked (and works) GREAT! Anyone else? Thanks.

    Could be the same problem I'm having. I'll have to check my RAM usage later. I upgraded and suddenly I can't play anything. Dropped notes on single note, single instrument. Used to work wonderfully.

    I've done a lot of checks before realizing this. This is a deal breaker for me.

    I just made a test here, comparing both versions after loading the same (~5GB) project. The results show no meaningful difference in memory usage. Perhaps you could send me your project file to support@vsl.co.at, so I could have a look.
