  • What samples will the PRO EDITION have??

I'm just curious what is next for this library. I'm really loving it, but also am aware of things I'm hoping will be released in the next round. Here is my wish list.

Legato EXPRESIVO strings (THIS IS A MUST!!!!)
    Muted Legato EXPRESIVO strings
A DIFFERENT oboe - I don't like the current one
    An English horn.
More dynamics in the perf. trumpet ens. patches.
ALL Brass that is miced farther away, put back in space as it would naturally be in the orch.

If there is a list somewhere that already outlines all of this could someone point me too it??

    Thanks,

    Colin

  • I try to give a short overview for the Pro Edition,

    new instruments:

Piccoloflute, flute 1, alto flute, english Horn, bass clarinet, double bassoon,
piccolo trumpet, bass trumpet, bass trombone, contrabass trombone,
    contrabass tuba, cimbasso, wagner tuba,
    solo violin, solo cello,
    celesta, marimbaphone, virbraphone,
a lot of percussion stuff (the double size of the first release)

    additions of first edition instruments

    strings
    size will be doubled:
mutes (different single-notelength, dynamics of course performance-legati repetitions),
    ponticello, non vibrato,
perf-legato-grace for very fast legato programming,
    and much more

    brass ensembles
marcato patches (long notes with hard attacks)
performance legati forte for trombone and trumpets
and maybe first performance marcati (like the performance legati, 24 variations per key)
more single notes, dynamics and performance reptitions

    solo woodwinds
more single note, dynamics, performance repetitions,

again, this list is just a short overview,

    best wishes
    Herb

  • Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but if I buy the cube and performance set now, what upgrade options will be available when the pro edition ships? Or should I just wait?

  • Herb,

are there plans for String Harmonics in the future? Solo and/or ensemble?

I'm looking forward to the muted strings in the Pro set. I don't think there can ever be enough praise towards you and your team for this library - it truly is astounding!

  • Hi glennm01!

Our upgrade path is called Vienna Innovation Program (VIP): Simply put, this makes sure that when you upgrade, you´ll never pay double for what you already get PLUS you get a discount.

Upgrading from the First Edition to the Pro Edition (e.g. Complete Orchestral Package) works like this:

3090 $ now for the First Edition 16bit

Upgrade for 2090 $ to get the Pro Edition 24bit (including everything you already have in 24bit!) You save 310 $.

Hope this answers your question, find more details on our DEMOS & PRODUCTS Page.

    All the best, Paul
