Is it possible to automate interval mode, with a control change either at the global level or the cell slot level?

Hi Composer321,

it´s not possible to do that, but the effect is very easy to achieve. Simply copy the slot, cell or matrix and change the setting in the "Advanced" Tab of the Slot Editor Area or in the Options Tab in the Perform settings.

I don't quite understand this answer.

I have a situation where I want to switch from perf-legato to spicatto and I want to change from mono to poly mode at the same time.  The program change is easy enough, but the legato mode change is teh problem.

Based on your answer above I assumed I could change the mode in the options area for one patch and it would not affect the other, but this is not the case. Also the field value in the advanced tab of the slot area is not editable.

How can I make this work?

Hi kcorbin, 

I guess I have to correct myself there. To switch from polyphonic legato to monophonic legato you need to open another instance of VI PRO, with different legato settings. 

Since we´re using shared memory, no sample will be loaded twice.
