  • Special Edition Plus - fast repetitions...

Hello guys. I just bought vienna special edition plus. It's a very good product, but i have a question please. Is there a way to add lenght to the fast repetition ( 150, 170 and 190 BPM ) of strings? because it plays like 2 seconds and it stop. Thank you very much!

    Hello Vincent

    About Repetitions

The articulation "Fast Repetitions" contain a certain amount of repetition notes (probably 8 with SE).

Depending on the speed, on the BPM within the DAW and the length of pressing a key of the keyboard you can have 1, 2...8 such repetition notes.

There is also an articulation rep_long which contains 16 repetitions but I believe that SE doesn't come with those articulations.

Further, if you have switched "ON" the "Release Note" the Vienne Player will add a final repetition tone (Release Sample) after you release the key of the keyboard.

This RS lets end the repetitions in a natural way

So if you need four repetitions (of the eight) play the time of 3 and the 4th will be added by the release sample.

In case of using more then 8 repetitions you should restart the sample - repeat the repetition - so to say.

Maybe it is better to switch off the RS (release sample) for that.

You could use the tremolo as an alternative sample as well  - I don't know,

    Hope that helped a bit
