HELP - this website does not work with my computer!(Mac g4)

I've never encountered this problem before until this site. I'm using a mac g4 with Internet Explorer. Only part of the website fits on the screen. I have to drag the entire window way off the left of my screen to see the handles to move the windows. It ends up being very annoying. Cleary, I must be doing something wrong. How do I fix this?

this should only happen if you are not entering the site via the vsl.co.at url. there is a script that opens the site fullscreen.
the site is optimized for 1024 screen resolution. we had to do this because of the 3 level navigation and the wide scores. to keep the navigation visible, we decided to put the content into so called "Ilayers". The only problem is that they have a fixed width. After resizing the window the scrollbars may dissapear.
But we´re thinking about a different solution.
Till we find one i would like to ask you to maximize your window.
