How to record VE Pro fader automation in Pro Tools ?
Hi everyone, I know one can draw automation data in Pro tools using the pencil tool once the automation is enabled in the VE Pro Plug-in. But, is there some way to write it in realtime with some controller ? I mean... moving one fader on VE Pro does not write any data on the Pro tools track dedicated to VE Pro. It´s frustrating. Any help on this ? Thank you all Andres

you can record automation in a host that will affect VE Pro in terms of channel volume, channel pan, and up to 4 sends to another channel. I don't use Pro Tools and can't address how to do it there. Unless PT is somehow bizarrely deficient, which I kind of doubt.@CLASS-A said:

This question was unclear and no video directory ... I wish!
By the way, even when I'm recording automation with the pencil VE PRO does not accept the command, how do you manage to do it?as far as VI Pro you can automate any midi control command to it from a MIDI editor. I can't tell you how PT does anything, but these are not limitations of the VSl software. What is currently a limitation is parameters of certain plugs such as FX plugs cannot be written to inside VE Pro. For instance, writing to EQ parameters in that kind of plug; or any kind of mouse writing or controller movements on the VE Pro end won't be recorded (but again, midi can be written in the sequencing host and VI/VE Pro will read it). That is what will be addressed in version 5, including touch or mouse writing on the VE Pro end.
