Though I love VE Pro for the most part, sometimes it has me pulling out my hairs and practically throwing machines out of the window.
As I'd like to keep my hair (and keep other people from inadvertently having mac's landing on their heads), I hope you can help me solve this problem.
Recently I had to reformat a few drives and move libraries around, as too much was streaming from one drive.
Since patches are saved with the host project, it meant that all my Kontakt 4 instances on my (mac) slave had to refind their samples.
This wasn't easy as there appears to be a bug with the file selector from the Kontakt 'select directory' button getting 'okay'd' instantly by VE PRo (bug number #1)
So, once I finally had it load all the samples, I decided to save the metaframe in case anything happened to my host project or if I needed to reload the same template for other sessions.
But for some reason, the metaframe won't load in the network version of VE Pro; it comes up with the 'metaframe integrity check failed' message.
However, if I doubleclick the metaframe file, it WILL load in the non-network version of VE PRO (that wants to run with the slave's audio card)...so, what the hell is going on?
Cheers,
Joe
