Wow, my first day installing VSL SE and it was not a very user friendly experience at all. Very poor workflow.
I bought the FULL library, and registered my serial number where it said Standard or FULL S/N, but I do not have any extended presets showing up for me. Of course I did NOT receive a "special" certificate from distributor(ILIO), so I guess now I need to call them, hassle over it, and wait for them to ship it.
Any way around this?

Thank you for your quick reply Paul! I called ILIO before I checked your message and found their email they sent me. Sorry for the rant and confusion yesterday, I just expected to be able to pop in the installation disk and have it all done quickly as I didn't have a lot of free time. Everything is running great now so thanks for your help, I can see you guys are on top of customer service. As you can tell I'm new to this stuff so I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me in the future.

Did you actually purchase Volume 2?

the serial number for the special edition (DVD) standard library is printed on stickers on the bottom of your box - no certificate.
a serial number certificate (for the respective extended library) was issued resp. handed out to you by your dealer - if you have purchased also the extended library.
if you formerly didn't purchase the extended library too you can now add special edition vol. 2 license.
for such a *mixed licensing* i would recommend to install the download libraries only.
we have a few extended licenses (for the old DVD product line) left, but such a license could only be issued backoffice.

I bought this from Guitar Center (United States). They are the dealer I would have to contact?
The SE box says that my DVDs included 'Vienna Special Edition Standard and Extended Library (Extended Library must be unlocked at...)' Indeed, each of the four DVDs say Standard Library-Extended Library. To me that means there is no need to formerly purchase the extended library. Do I not already have it? That was part of the incentive for buying SE in the first place. I love using it, but it always struck me as being rather peculiar to have immediate access to only some of the instruments that I thought I had purchased. What is it that I'm not understanding?

please look at your invoice if it reads *standard + extended* or *full* library ... probably you have purchased this product
which is the standard library only.
the special edition has been reconfigured into volumes to allow adding vol. 3 and vol. 4 as well as offering special edition sections (strings, ect).
the old DVD product was splitted into a standard + extended library (as the other big collections are).
special edition standard library is now special edition vol. 1, special edition extended library is now special edition vol. 2
