Advice for controlling VE Pro through VNC
I am connecting to my slave PC from a Mac and have set up a separate Windows 7 user account just for Vienna. I noticed that when I load up a project in VE Pro on Windows 7 and then 'switch users' back to my normal account, I can STILL play instruments through the Mac on the other Win7 account, even though the user isn't visible. However, obviously, I cannot go in and change or add instruments, etc. Is there any way to connect to an inactive but logged in Windows 7 user through VNC? When I try to run VNC and only see that screen, all I see is the active screen on Windows 7. The reason I'd like to do this is because I have someone else who is using the regular user account on Windows 7 and I'd like to be able to control and change Vienna in the background at the same time. Any thoughts of creative ways around this? What about hooking up dual monitors and using the 2nd monitor just for Vienna Setups on Windows 7 while the 1st monitor can be used for other things?

I use VNC a lot, but between two MACs, it works great. Last week I was accessing my Mini Mac server from Fuerteventura.
Remote desktop is another solution, today it is 70.99 $, but there is a rumor that it will be included in Lion

On most of the monitors you have at least two entries( 1 x DVI + 1 x VGA), you can connect your Mac on one and your PC on the other and switch between them
You can also buy hardware switches that will switch your monitor and you kbd

The problem with the monitor switch is that I use an Apple Cinema Display via the DisplayPort (Thunderbolt port). I guess I could use a DisplayPort to DVI converter and then attach that to a DVI switch, it's just that switches are a bit pricey. I could almost get another monitor for the price of the switch.
