    Hi.  I have been using Vienna Instruments on my old Mac.

    I just bought a new iMac.  All the samples are already on my external drive.  I attached the external drive to the new Mac.

    I already have a Vienna Key with proper license.

    Now I downloaded Vienna Instruments-OSX-4.1.8008.pkg from this website and installed it.

    Then I used Directory Manager to point the libraries on my external drive.

    I thought these are all I needed to do.

    But when I either launch standalone mode or plugin mode, it crashes.

    How did I do wrong?  I certainly don't want to re-install all the DVDs because they are already in my external drive.

    Could you please help me?

    You may want to verify if the permissions are set to read/write on the external drive.

    And you should repair the system disk permissions with Disk Utility.

    After installing new software, repairing permissions generaly solved the problems.

    And of course you need the eLicenser Control Center installed.
