    When I shut down my studio for the night, I close VE Pro, which is hosting a large ensemble of VSL instruments. When I open Windows 7 task manager, I always see VE Pro in memory for about 10 minutes after closing the application. It seems to slowly leave memory. The only problem I see with this is that I don't want to shut down the computer until memory is cleared.

    Is VSL going to look into this? Does anyone notice this?

    Just shut the computer down. Why don't you want to do this?

    My Mac wont shut down too, until VE pro server has not clear the memory, but with the new VE/VI pro (8008) it takes less than a minute to clear 24 GB

    You don't need to do this in Windows. It should just shut down.

    Interesting. I also have 24GB of RAM, Windows 7, VE Pro, version 8008 and it takes over ten minutes to clear from memory.

    I've never seen a program take that long to clear from memory.
