... and yet...
... I am lacking understanding for the pain I am in.
How much did I pay for the VSL First Edition - the "first" Edition I ever bought that contained no looped Samples?
A first Edition that supplied looped samples later - but mainly only to those, who had paid more. And, as it seemed to me, regardless how much of the looped samples based on samples that were inclosed in both the First and Pro Edition.
And now, the VI Instruments/ Ensemble, within my collection of hard- and software music instruments, ... sorry, I can't believe it's really real... no automated panning? Not even some Midi-control over the Power Panning?
All the control I have is using the mouse?
All the feedback I get is via an optical estimation within a field of about 3 square centimeters?
Oh boy, oh pain.
How about incorporating a control/feedback-feature that operates as follows:
When I use the mouse for changing the Pan, a window shows a value between 0 and 127.
0 for outmost left, 64 for center, 127 for outmost right postion.
Similiar with Power Panning:
0 to 127 for the position of the Power-Panning-Triangle's middle dot.
And 0 - 127 for the amplitude of the Power-Panning's Triangle.
Double-clicking allows to enter a value via keyboard.
