    Hi folks -

    I've had lots of difficulty networking my dual 4core Mac Pro to my core2duo MacbookPro.  Lots of what sounds like truncation distortion or reduced bitdepth (to 3-4 bits).   No problems at all networking another desktop to it - in fact that works in the way one always hopes any software will work - perfectly.  Restarts don't seem to matter.  Same software on each - build 8008.  No instrument works, Vienna or otherwise.

    Any thoughts?
