    After downloading the Contrabass Clarinet and clicking Install, I received the message that a newer version of the Library Installer was necessary. From where do I get this newer version of the Library Installer? Thank you, Steve

    Hello Steve,

    That was most probably an eLCC error message.

    Please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and ALL the latest VSL software.

    We have updated the copy protection, so all parts (protection software and the protected software) need to be updated! After this, please restart your computer, and everything should work just fine!

    Also, new products always need the latest software versions, otherwise they won´t be recognized.

  • The Contrabass Clarinet is still not playing. When I load it into Sibelius 6.2 it plays back as a bass clarinet and the notes out of range to not play back. I have installed the latest eLCC and download manager and rescanned with the directory manager to no avail. This is very frustrating.

    I have also answered your mail to , I believe that downloading your contrabass clarinet and installing it again will solve this issue (that might have been a mistake on our side).

  • I have deleted all previous data, updated all software, and downloaded the Contrabass again. Ran the download manager, restarted, and still no sound - either in Sibelius nor via the MIDI in standalone mode. No luck yet. What is wrong? What do I need to do to get the product I paid for? The other downloads work fine but this one no sound... This is time consuming and frustrating I'm sure you realize.

    You have not answered to my last email, so I assume that my suggestion has worked.

    I saw from your screenshots that your Vienna Instruments were not up to date, so the update should have solved this (the earlier versions didn´t even "know" these new products, our FULL Download Instruments).

  • After updating yet again (auto-update feature or at least auto-notification would be nice) still no sound. I am attempting to download yet again after this update to see if that helps.
