Hi Dietz,
Thanks for your quick response. I am working on a huge project all day today this is priority number one for me.
My DAW is in my signature (Presonus Studio One) however it is not the cause. I can prove this and just did (see below). Also, Both of the threads you pointed me to kindly, were about using Kontakt "Inside" of MIR, not as a side by side scenerio. I am trying to use Kontakt 4 outside of MIR, not in it.
I was able to reproduce the issue without even using my DAW. I just open up MIR and load a project. Viola! It plays beautifully! I then open up stand alone Kontakt 4 (I have the full version, I do not have any free players) and boom. My sound goes to shit. None of the instruments in Kontakt 4 are playable. MIR however is. If I close MIR down, Kontakt instantly allows me to play perfectly without reloading Kontakt. If I try to open MIR again Kontakt goes back to being unplayable.
I am on the following versions:
1. MIR version 1.3 Build 1841 (I just noticed there is a few updates to this, I am downloading it as I type)
2. Kontakt 4 full version 4.2.2.4504
3. RME Multiface 2 Driver date: 08/05/2010 Version: 3.08.5 (This is still the most up to date on the website)
4. Windows 7 x64 Enterprise
My MIR Audio Settings look like this:
1. Audio Setting for ASIO Hammerfall DSP - sample rate (greyed out) - Latency "Def."
2. Multiprocessing 2 Threads (I have 8 available)
My MIR Preferences look like this:
1. Venue Image Detail Level 1x
2. Venue Animation Speed 100%
3. Buffer Multiplier "1x" (Physical CPUs 1, Physical Cores 4, Logical Cores 8)
4. Dynamic processing (disable unused instruments) is checked
Going to update to latest MIR really quick. BRB.
