    Hello Jeffrey,

    I assume that you are talking about VE PRO....

    The latency has nothing to do with the amount of RAM.

    What counts isthe latency set in your soundcard and the buffer you set in the VE PRO Server Interface (that will add 0,1 or 2 buffers, e.g., 128+128+128 samples). This "buffer" could also be called "ntework latency" and only affects live-playing, as the latency is automatically compensated when your sequencer is playing back an arrangement.

    This is described in detail in the VE PRO manual.
