    Hi All!

    I have short question about the Cell Crossfade FUnction

    Behaviour in Normal VI:

    In case the Cell Xfade Button is not highlighted, always both Samples play with configured volume, independent of Cell Xfade Slider (which has no effect in this setting)

    As soon this is highlighted it is a real crossfade (meaning when i go with cell XF to max I only hear cell 2, when i am on minimum i hear cell 1)

    Now according to VI Pro Manual (page 21, bottom) the behaviour is slightly different:

    In case Slot Xfade is not active the Fader only changes volume for second slot.

    Can somone (who has VI Pro) please confirm that this behaviour is different between VI and VIP?

    Hello Gabriel,

    this behaviour is different indeed. I have just sent a demo license for VI PRO to your registered email address.

    Without testing it, i think i like the VI Pro Slot Xfade much more, another reason to give you more money ;)
